Instead, we offer steady structure, real mentorship, and community support that respects how creative growth actually happens—over time, with practice and reflection.

Self-taught creatives are resourceful—but often isolated. FADE provides structure without rigidity: guided formal learning paths, mentorship groups, and community support designed to help creatives grow with confidence, not burnout.

We believe access isn’t an add-on—it’s the foundation. From free resources and public programming to sliding-scale events and memberships, FADE is intentionally designed to lower barriers while honoring the value of creative work.

We believe creative education should be accessible and sustainable. FADE operates as a for-benefit business, meaning our revenue directly supports fair pay, free resources, and community-focused programming—without relying on grants or donations to survive.

FADE is committed to showcasing and teaching human-made art, design, videos and photography only. We do not use AI-generated artwork, imagery or videography in our classes, publications, or creative programming—because creative practice, process, and authorship matter.

All writing published by FADE and it’s contributors—articles, lessons, newsletters, and educational materials—is required to be authored by real people. AI may assist behind the scenes to improve clarity or efficiency, but creative authorship always remains human.

We don’t have nor need a Report Content button because all content is vetted by a human to come from the hands of a human.
