Bring along a friend and something you’re currently working on to share your passion with fellow artists.
Our free sessions focus exclusively on dry media—think pencils, color pencils, charcoal, pastel, and more—to let your art flourish naturally (please note: no fixatives inside the building).
You’ll have the opportunity to work from a beautifully arranged still life, offering endless inspiration and a chance to refine your skills. Ask questions, exchange ideas, receive thoughtful feedback, and connect with other artists who are as enthusiastic about their creative journey as you are. Join us and let your art tell its story!
Suggested Discussion Topic: Still Life Study
Laura will go over her process for setting up a still life and then you will have the opportunity to draw and photograph it. Inspiration: Plants, tea pots and books.
Donating helps us fund FADE’s goals of providing free art education to everyone. Our first goal is to raise $5000 by the end of 2025 so we can officially register as a nonprofit and acquire the software needed to upgrade our platform.
